Her stride isn't as beautiful as Flo Jo's. Congrats, though.
What i find interesting is Elaine looked like she lost rhythm at two points in the race. She also picks up more acceleration towards the end. If she can maintain a uniform pace throughout that world record will soon be hers.
Jamaican sprinters are phenomenal sprinters, 14 years ago in 2008 Jamaica sweep the 100 meters 1,2,3 in in the female sprint , the first people to start to get Jelous and start to bad mouth Jamaican was people from other caribbean Islands the traditional Jelous Islands of Barbados , Antigua, they did not know that Jamaica spend a lot of money for years on Track and field to upgrade track abd field standard in Jamaica, they say Jamaican athlethes win because of drugs, they are very julous of Jamaica ,Barbadis historey at the olympics NOTE : Barbados have been competing in the Olympic since 1968 54 years but only win one (1) bronz medal , and they win only because a athlete fell and the award them with the bronz medal. Antigua have been competing in the olympics since 1976 46 years but win ZERO medal at the olympics. NOW we can clearely see where the jelousy comes from.
