  1. Last to first means nothing when such a large group is bunched together like that. The entire group is essentially tied for first.

  2. I thought this was going to be something spectacular, but nothing of it. Rather boring. Thought it might have been an unexpected winner that came from the back on the last lap. How dull

  3. Without wishing to be a killjoy, the world record go reset in Florence with week. The first 10 came in around 13 seconds fasher than this heat, and Kenyan Faith Kipyegon ran 3:49.11. So Katelyn needs to move up in class soon and test herself against the best. Next season’s European Diamond League i would suggest. Not sure what the NCAA rules are about that and amateur status. She’s got lovely, economical gait which doesn’t waste a lot of energy or momentum, so if she can continue to build endurance I think the speed/kick is already there at the 800, and she could fulfil her promise.

  4. Katelyn’s training regiment is going the extra mile. In her example of life, she is not covered in ugly tattoos to attract attention, she uses her platform to encourage excellence in life. God Bless you, The Bear 🐻 🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
