Women's Steeplechase – 2023 NCAA outdoor track and field championships

Impressive runs by first and second. Look to be added to some of the pro steeple-chasers soon.
I have been saying this forever, when you lead a race it’s imperative that you don’t burn yourself out. The runner in second place is waiting for you to gas out so they can pass you. A lot of the times, runners don’t mind running in 2-4th because they finish well. Congrats to the winner.
kaylee is a smoke show 🙂
It wasn't the announcers' shining hour.

This commentating team tends to overcommit to their pre-prepared points — how about focusing on calling the race as it’s happening?
Haha… I Iove when gutsy athletes prove these big mouth 'know it all' commentators to be fools😂
The folks announcing are like the worlds championship Last Year in Eugene
announcers beyond clueless
great run by Markezich biding her time until about 2 laps to go, RG 3 with the comic relief at 7:15 …
Embarrassing commentary there 😅
Olivia ran the 3rd fastest time by a collegiate runner, at about 95 degrees, and got a 10 second PR!!! Amazing!!!
The make commentators comments about a front runner losing are irritating. Completing that it's always better to hang back and make a move for the front late in the race . Whereas it actually depends on several factors.

Brilliant run! Yes, raving about the Lithuanian when Olivia was looking strong and went past!
7:38 The commentator had to retract just 2 seconds after making his prediction.
