CASPER, Wyo — Kaiden Lee from Natrona County High School signed a letter of intent with Idaho State University for Track and Field. The signing ceremony took place at Natrona County High School on Wednesday, Nov. 15.
During a campus visit, Lee felt an immediate connection with Idaho State University. “The place felt like home,” Lee said.
While excited about his commitment, Lee is also aware of the challenges ahead. He acknowledged feeling humbled after reviewing college scores and realizing the heightened level of competition he will face.
Expressing a desire to branch out, Lee mentioned his eagerness to leave Wyoming. He fondly recalls participating in the Simplot meet and other out-of-state competitions as his favorite track and field experiences, especially because of the opportunities to meet new people.
In addition to his athletic pursuits, Lee will be studying business at Idaho State University.
Having signed early, Lee is relieved to approach the upcoming season without the stress of recruitment. This early commitment allows him to concentrate fully on competing and improving his performance.
