CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas Bears Men’s and Women’s Track & Field teams are traveling to two meets this week.
Their first stop is the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Ia. The meet will be held at the Knapp Center.
The Drake Relays is a multi-level event with athletes competing at the high school, college, and community levels.
On Wednesday, the meet will kick off with the men’s Decathlon and the women’s Heptathlon events and will continue into Thursday. Relays, distance races, and the Hammer and Javelin will also take place on Thursday.
Friday will consist of more races and multiple field events. Most of the finals will take place on Saturday.

The next stop is the Memphis Invitational that will be held at the Billy J. Murphy Track and Field Complex.
On Friday, the field events start at 2:00 p.m. with the Long Jump, Hammer, Javelin, and Pole Vault. Running events start at 6:00 p.m. with the women’s 1500m run.
On Saturday, the High Jump and Shot Put start at 10:00 a.m. Running events start at 11:45 a.m. with the women’s 100m hurdles prelims.
