I’m in track and just the other day we watched one of the sprinters painfully hit a kid, the kid face planted and the girl got hurt badly bc the kid went straight for her belly, it hurt me to watch

As a person who goes to karate its pretty similar with this vid, local competitions are SO ANNOYING, when your sparring someone random kids run around the whole place.

For indoor long jump at the high school level, I walked through the lane as I didn’t see the jumper,
here’s the funny part, he was starting in the farthest part of the runway, almost in lane 1, and right next to there is where people would cross the track,
so the jumpers coach yelled at me when I crossed, to me the jumper was talking to his friends at the crossing. What ended up happening is the jumper failed every jump, he had no strategy and it’s honestly the coaches fault.

I'm glad the 1st place athlete didn't stop and let the kid ruin his entire career by being a stupid asshole jumping into the middle of a competition like that.
