The tossing and acrobatics remind me of cheerleading, but with the added difficulty of water. I can’t even imagine the amount of time spent on conditioning their bodies to achieve the strength to perform such feats.
I come from a gymnastics background and am extremely impressed. This sport (and yes, I said SPORT ) has developed and come such a long way. This sport was once considered a joke. I dare naysayers to watch this routine and tell me it doesn’t warrant respect.
