Or that is not enough? can they call themselfs champions of the world when they win a Europian trophy? Since they have international players? Shitty arguments, bs. You can call yourselfs world champions when you win a world competition …. Not even the national teams of Europe, Asia and America calls themselfs World champion when they win their Continets Leauge… that happens onces every 2 years… only the national team that wins th Mundial can call themselfs World Champions.

Comparison should only stand on international competitions representing the US. Watch 2006 world cup loss from Greece and the Netflix documentary about the redeem team in 2008 Olympics. Real stress to beat Spain in the finals. Arguing that best players in the league are internationals does not support the argument, you need to compare teams with teams. Unfortunately international competitions in basketball do not happen multiple times a year as they do in track and field sports.

In Soccer for clubs to compete in the world stage, there is something known as FIFA Club World Cup. The team which wins this competition is called as "World Champions" because they competed with the best soccer clubs from all over there world and then won the championship. You can't just call yourself "World Champions" by just competing in the NBA alone. Perhaps that's why The USA got humbled by Germany in the Semi Finals of FIBA Basketball World Cup. 🤦🏼🤷🏼

If you don't want to compete internationally don't claim to be world champions , they don't to it outside of the USA in ,for example ,any of the Gaelic sports or Aussie Rules. Every league is world wide league. They're just NBA champions, not world champions. Maybe NBA is the best league, but there're just clubs. When most people think about world champions, they mean as a country, not as a club. That's why there're world cups in football (your soccer), world cups in basketball etc. There're also club world cups in football but you know… There's a problem, that NBA is actually out of FIBA. Imo top European clubs could beat NBA clubs right now. Look at NBA top players like Luka, Jokić, they're in top in NBA rn
The fact that more than hundred players in the NBA are from outside the US, doesn't give you the right to give the nba champions the title World Champions. Every foootball league in Europe has hundreds of players from outside the country. Doesn't give them the right to call their national champions World champions neither. It's very easy. By your definition Manchester city is a world champion. Man city would never call themselves world champions unless they win the club World Cup.

How long before the Americans start calling the league the world championship? And it would be just as ridiculous as basketball and baseball. If you are, then prove it in the international world ranking competition with only US players. Germany ranks no.1, beat us to become world champs. Serbia is rank no.2, and Canada is rank no.3. USA is rank no.4.
