NEW ORLEANS – All-America honors for the 2024 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field season were announced on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and Winona State University standout Kaylee Beyer earned All-America status in two events following the 2023-24 Warrior season.
Beyer was named a USTFCCCA All-America in both the Mile run and the 3000 meters, following a strong showing at the 2024 NCAA Division II 2024 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Competing at Pittsburg State (Kan.) University, Beyer claimed runner-up honors nationally in the mile run with a time of 4:39.86. Beyer also ran in the 3000-meter finals and claimed the second-fastest time of the field, running a mark of 9:24.15. Beyer outpaced 17 other runners in the 3000-m and crossed the finish line just moments after Adam State’s Hyde, who won the race with a time of 9:22.44.
Athletes of member institutions who finished in the top-8 of their respective individual events and relays at the 2024 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships this past weekend in Pittsburg, Kansas, took home First-Team All-America honors. Those who placed ninth through 12th individually or on a relay team that finished ninth or 10th were named Second-Team All-America.
