Lane Named NSIC Track Athlete of the Week – Minnesota State University


BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Minnesota State senior sprinter Eilika Lane (Kingston, Jamaica) earned Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women’s of Week on Tuesday (Apr. 9) for week two.

She ran 400m hurdles in 1:00.68 at USD Early Bird last week and earned a spot on the MSU all-time list at second overall.

Lane’s provisional time ranks sixth in Division II this season. 

In week one, MSU senior Denisha Cartwright was also named NSIC of the Week.

and field season continues at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate in Long Beach, California on Thursday, April 11.
