Fantastic race, thrilled that these are up on youtube, but I have to say, the commentating is way below par.
This field is loaaaded
Yeah increíble final!!
2 Oregon Ducks delighted to be doing what they were born to do. Cole & Cooper: You inspire so many people by showing up and giving it your all.
Came to watch this treasure after watching the 2022 Millrose 3k, which they did just under 3:40. They're getting better every year.
That final kick is mad
Amazing
Incredible. Cole Hocker is a serious contender for Tokyo
I'm very satisfied he got the double. 1 HOUR after running sub 4 indoor? And able to win a 3k with how that schedule was?
That's great speed endurance. It's clear he has faster foot speed than his teammate, that's why he made the move as late as he did.
Cooper Teare's last 200 is out of this world.
Go Cole Hocker!
The breakable cauliflower disappointingly use because china ethnically concentrate than a plastic exhaust. closed, acid shark
Romo: tries to pass
Teare: "Don't do it"
Romo: passes anyway
Teare: "You have chosen violence"
da Hawk! Great posture…style.
Nice finish
Awful announcing
I mean did y'all see that? after THAT mile??? unbelievable
Do you think there’s a chance cooper gave cole the dub?
Hocker's form is very reminiscent of Seb Coe's somehow. Very little upper-body movement, seems to be running too low to the ground to get great turnover, and yet the feet come way back on the backstride and there is just zero energy loss. And evidently has a final 200 similar to Coe's.
What a champion!
Cooper definitely did all the work from the front in this race, but I do think its fair here since Cole had just ran a blazing mile an hour before. Cole also had to bleed big time to win this race. These guys are so good. I love how they just run all out, screw the lame tactics. When you are genuinely the best you do a tremendous disservice to yourself when you play into the "tactics" games of running.
Usually I’m more of a sit back and kick person on longer distances
Hocker is crazy. Wow.
Cole train.
Had that chalice over Cooper.
Cole Hocker runs 7:46 in the 3k less than an hour after winning the mile in 3:53. Absolutely insane. Best of luck to both Cole and Cooper in the Olympic trials.
So some NCAA, or other, asswipe arranges to locate a floating linking window over the results table so as to obscure the names of the runners during the final seconds of the video. If one places a cursor at 8:50 of the video play line, one can see that the full results table is there in miniature view; but, someone has obviously decided to obscure it full screen out of laziness or possibly even pique. It could have been placed over the NCAA balloon logo instead of course … or delayed a couple of seconds … but, no …
Wow!!!!
That's absurd. Just chillin' for 14 laps and then drop everybody by 2 full seconds in the last 200m.
that was inspiring
Great run ahmed jaziri keep going
Dude Cole is insane.
Teare went just a little early… Great race. Oregon is dominant!
室内で7'46は普通にヤバすぎる…👏
Well, Hocker has put the cat among the pigeons. With that finishing speed, when he and Jacob meet, Jacob is going to have to ALWAYS set a fast pace in hope of taking the edge of that finishing kick. It is weird how when great runner emerges and we all go "WOW!" and then – now and again – hot on their heels, comes another one. Roll on the summer!
That kick Cole has is just insane he will for sure be a future Olympic athlete same with Cooper
Cooper ran an outstanding race, but there was no stopping Cole once he shifted into his final gear.
