Coaches need to start teaching better tactics when it comes to indoor track. No reason someone should be in last place running in lane 2. If you’re going to sit at the back, sit on the rail. If you’re going to move up, do it. Don’t wait. If it’s slow, do whatever you have to in order to be on the rail. Go to the front. Only reason to be in lane 2 is actively passing. If you’re not actively passing, get on the inside
