India just focuses on cricket. The amount of attention and support that cricketers get, our other athletes don't even get half of that love and support. In schools also there is only 1 games period in a week, and that is also taken by some maths/science teacher. We want medals but we're not helping our athletes to achieve them. Guys support cricket but please give other sports also the attention they deserve.

Yahan comment section m adhe se zyada log Olympics ka games dekhte bhi honge…117 log jo gaye hain unko fully prepared karke bheja gaya hai with world class coaches,nutritionists and individual physios and equipments…its not about how much you spend…West has dominated in Olympics for a long time because it was born there..Considering the economic condition of India 117 is a huge number bro and it will only increase in the future as more and more domestic leagues and events are being organised and people are getting inspired from stars like Neeraj Chopra,Avinash Sable,Vinesh Phogat etc.
Olympics is really just a European hotspot …they grew up with Olympics..so it will take time for India to be there or get recognised but India is slowly climbing the ladders it takes a lot of time bro and money…Considering how poor India is we still were able to send 100+ contingent…its a very big deal…har kisiko nhi bheja ja sakta paisa lagta hai uske liye….Today India has more than 3000 sports schools (Public + Private)…we have to be proud of what we got in so less time …future holds brighter results becoz more and more people are getting inspired by watching Athletes like Neeraj Chopra.
