Section 3A Track and Field Championships held in Luverne | News, Sports, Jobs



LUVERNE — Cardinal played host to the Section 3A and championships on Thursday. Runners, jumpers and throwers from 22 schools competed in the events with the hopes of making the state tournament. Luverne finished with the most poitns on the boys and girls side, followed by Redwood Valley and Canby/Minneota on the girls side and Montevideo and Redwood Valley on the boys.

The Class A state championships will be held at St. Michael-Albertville High school. will be held on Thursday starting at 3:30 p.m. while the finals will be held on Friday at the same time.
