  1. Hey bro, love the videos!! Quick question, will sprint training twice a week increase or maintain my jumping ability with age? Can I cut out jump rope for this?

Thank you in advance for all the value that you provide!

  2. I just did a set of springs for the first time in a long time. It's amazing how much of my body is sore. All of my legs, but also my back and sides and even my chest and neck! I'm definitely gonna try to start sprinting regularly.

  3. What if my run is so slow that I run like I’m jogging ?! But I don’t heal strike. I just try to avoid landing on the ball of my foot or toes because it hurts my shins more than landing ON my front toes and then letting my heel touch

  4. LOL, what?! I see a lot of people running marathons with a heel strike and "thick" shoes (thick shoes?!?!). So are they jogging a marathon? Come on… Also running almost on your toes – as shown in this video – cannot be good. Anyway, that was the most weird description of jogging and running I've seen.

  5. I’m a sprinter looking to do my first 10K, should I change to heel to toe, or maintain running on my toes? I’m pretty sure I ran the 5k exclusively on my toes 😂

  6. What a stupid way to define jogging vs running. Trying to define one vs the other is really pointless in the first place – they are both running (by definition – they are not walking – that is all that actually matters). If you feel the need to use jogging, then just call it relatively slow for the actual person doing. I jog for one person is a sprint for another. Some of the best marathoners in the world heel strike – are you really going to say they are jogging?

PS – I am pretty sure you only posted this to get lots of comment, so I suppose kudos is in order.

  7. 😆 yeah my podiatrist said i have the flatest feet he has seen in his career. So no arch spring! He said jogging or running will always be painful and should only be done in short bursts.

  8. Ok we get it you read Bowermans book. His notion of running and the separation he created to jogging ia simply made up. He wanted to sell more of his highly heel cushioned shoes so he proposed heel striking and coincidentally you will have to wear his shoes so the heel striking doesn't damage your joints.

  9. You might as well start running short distances and use progressive overload to build up to longer distances. Starting with a jog just creates habits that have to be unlearned.

  10. I tried running again, but i got used to jogging so the form i was using was for jogging (heel first) safe to say my shins were not happy. it was like using your shins as replacement for your calves

  11. Just for anyone that sees this; people make videos like this with absolutely false information in order to have people interact with the video and comment. Don't fall for their trap, just dislike the video and move on.

  12. Hammering on your heels for decades, jogging, is going to ruin your joints. Landing on your toes is like built in shocks and will absorb the impact (especially if you hammer away on pavement and cement).

  13. Your advice on fore foot striking/landing led me to years of dealing with shin splints. Not saying that your advice got me injured, I am just against your running technique after learning how to properly land on mid foot with the proper shoes. Barefoot running is only possibly done on turf and it’s not very practical since we all be wearing shoes 80% of the time. But everyone likes what they like so enjoy being barefoot forefoot striking, I’ll continue doing my thing too.

  14. Either way, jogging has always felt a bit weird to me. If i ever go jogging with other people i end up going faster than them, as it feels so uncomfortable to go at the same pace with how i run.

  15. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL this guy really tried to redfine jogging out his ass. We've been walking, jogging, and running for as long as our species has been around you clown
