Track and Field Set to Compete at Penmen Relays on Saturday

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley and field teams will head to the Granite State on Saturday to compete at the Penmen Relays, hosted by Southern New Hampshire.

Coming off being named the Northeast 10 Women’s of the Week, Caitlin Burmester is set to the one mile, along with Molly Capece, Leesil Gilbert and Gracie Pointer. In the 5,000 meter , Anna Jones will represent the Falcons.

The 4×100 relay team is comprised of HaiLian Rowan, India Haynesworth, Maddie Oh and Hannah Croteau. That group will also the 200 meter dash, and Rowan and Oh are in the 100 meter as well.

In the field events Adriana Minasian is set to compete in the shot put and high jump. The shot put features Liz DeVarney and the long jump features Mia Bonner and Amanda Fawcett.

On the men’s side, a quartet of Falcons will run the 100 meter dash with Kenan Fong, Andrew Goehrig, Kaleb Hicks and Jared Podrazik entered. Ryan Dennehy is in the 200 meter dash and Evan Bean and Bryn Reynolds are in the 400.

The 800 meter is set to feature Rocco Bueti, Coop Caiozzo and Cole Duval.

The Falcons also have teams entered in the 4×100, 4×200 and 4×400 relays.

There is a strong contingent in the distance races with up to nine athletes in the one mile run, and Mason Behl and Max Lampe in the 5,000.

In the field events, Bentley’s largest contingent is in the javelin with Parker Rush, Day Garcia and Nick Dadasis. Dillon Pan is in the hammer and discus throws and Quinn Riesenberg is in the triple jump.
