NEW ORLEANS | The UAH men’s and women’s outdoor track & field teams garnered 29 combined All-South Region honorees as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
This is the third consecutive year the Chargers have combined for 25 or more All-South Region honors in the outdoor season.
UAH’s men’s team was represented by All-South Region performers Ke’Andre Campbell (4x100m), Wes Egalite (110m hurdles), Wes Ellison (800 meters), Michael Gizzi (4x100m, 100m, 200m), Nathan Knox (3000m steeplechase), Wilson McClain (4x100m, 110m hurdles), Eon Morris (400m hurdles), Tommy Rodriguez (4x100m), Jared Tittle (javelin), Malik Turner (high jump), Thomas Vaughn (pole vault), Ayden Walton (long jump, triple jump), and Sam Wilhelm (5000m, 10,000m).
On the women’s side, the Chargers featured All-South Region honors by Jadlyn Debardlabon (long jump), Jordyn Dortch (4x100m, 200m), Janae Hilliard (100m), Emily McMurry (10,000m), Raegan Miller (pole vault), Amiah Murry (4x100m), Krystalynn Oatman (4x100m), Chandler Robinson (4x100m), Ivy Teachey (100m hurdles), and TaNiyah Thomas (discus).
The top five individuals in each event from each region earned all-region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-three ranked relay team.
The Chargers look ahead to the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships this Thursday through Saturday in Emporia, Kansas, with UAH qualifying to compete in six events. More information on UAH’s Outdoor Nationals qualifiers.
