MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.–University of Wisconsin-La Crosse won the 2024 NCAA Division III Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship following three days of competition at Doug Shaw Stadium on May 25.
The national title is the 16th in program history and 19th captured by a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) program. Since the 1982-83 academic year, WIAC schools have combined to win a total of 127 NCAA Division III team championships.
UW-La Crosse totaled 76 points enroute to the title, while UW-Oshkosh was second with 48 points, Rowan University (N.J.) and Bethel University (Minn.) tied for third with 43 and Wartburg College (Iowa) fifth with 34.
Additional WIAC schools securing a spot in the team standings included: UW-Eau Claire and UW-Whitewater tied for sixth with 31 points; UW-Platteville tied for 18th with 11; UW-Stevens Point tied for 63rd with three; and UW-Stout tied for 74th with two. A total of 86 teams earned points at the event, which was hosted by Coastal Carolina University and Myrtle Beach Regional Sports Alliance.
