  1. This is a prelude for what’s coming in cross country. Parker Valby has tenacity and incredible potential. She will be the 2023 NCAA cross country champ!!!

  2. Your "talking heads" know absolutely nothing about long-distance running. Have them run a high school cross-country race and maybe, just maybe, they will be able to say something intelligent.

  3. Parker Valby should Molly Seidel the Marathon Qualifier on her Central Florida home turf on February 3rd and medal in summer in Paris too! Orlando is flat, warrm and sea level. She's from here and would kick ass. Boom! Go Gators! Scott O UF '95 Orlando since '86 Will be there cheering, hopefully for Parker and my fellow Cheesehead Molly

  4. a lot of verbage about KT…who isn't in the running. I enjoyed this race. well done Valby!
I ran 1.5k, 5 k and 10k. 5k was the worst. Hard scruffy races, no fun or satisfaction or wins.

  5. big ups to valby. she was the best on this day, by a wide margin. i think most of us like seeing two (or more) great athletes in their prime facing each other in competition. some days we get that. today we didn't. tuohy racing on this day would clearly not have been that. someday if we were to see a rematch of something approaching that, it would be so fun to watch.

  6. Why all the attention to Valby's injury? No one could run like she did with even a minor leg injury. I think she claimed injury for sympathy and to use as an excuse if she lost. She's not the "sweet little all American girl" she tries to portray and has no where near the character of Touhy. She speaks to other racers as they finish except N.C. State runners. Wonder why? I think we all know.

  7. I'm a Katelyn Touhy fan. But I must say that Parker Valby is a true champion. All top athletes face difficulties as their training challenges their bodies. Katlyn has faced it. Parker is in the midst of it. In this race, Parker took it to the field by asking them all, 'Can you take this pace?' Nobody had a response. Her ability to do this amid injuries has cemented her as a top competitor. I bow and take my hat off – Parker, congratulations on a supreme performance.

  8. Keep betraying me for the sake of your lies for all these years!??? For what!! Them!!! Those that live off you ladies by your own talents not their own soon you all will lose your best help and coach goodbye I'm sick of the NCAA UIL ECT ECT FULL OF FALSEHOOD ANYWAYS

  9. Congratulations are in order for Parker Valby when she surpasses Katelyn Tuohy's Outdoor 5000m record breaking performance just over a month ago, on May the 6th she set an all time Collegiate Record in a time of 15:03.12… some 27.45 seconds faster than Valby's winning time in this race!

  10. these announcers never miss an opportunity to not describe some relevant race action. Valby was stuck in the middle of the pack at the end of the first lap and she slowed up, backing out of the pack, then passed everyone on the turn. As always, the announcer was busy telling some random anecdote rather than addressing the race we're watching.

  11. I'm not sure if KT decided to run in this race if she would've beaten Valby. Kudos to Everlyn Kemboi & Emily Venters for finishing second and third respectively after doing the same in the 10K! (6/11/23)

  12. What an absolutely disastrous day for Tuohy! But sometimes you gotta gamble I guess. I don't think she liked the heat, 92° and 55% humidity. Too bad, but there will be other days!
