Amy Hunt arrives in Brussels after making European Championships history with four gold medals, but waiting for her is one of the fastest sprinters on the planet: Olympic champion Julien Alfred. Hunt dominated Birmingham with victories in the 100m and 200m, including a stunning 22.19, but Alfred has already beaten her twice over 200m in 2026.

Julien Alfred is the Olympic 100m champion, Olympic 200m silver medallist, and a two-time Diamond Trophy winner, while Amy Hunt enters with incredible momentum after her historic European Championship campaign. With Gabby Thomas, Shaunae Miller-Uibo, Anavia Battle, Kayla White and other elite sprinters also in the field, one race at King Baudouin Stadium will decide who takes the Diamond Trophy.
