Sweden’s Armand Duplantis soared to victory in the men’s pole vault at the Xiamen Diamond League on April 26, clearing 5.92m to secure the win and maximum Diamond League points. Greece’s Emmanouil Karalis and the Netherlands’ Menno Vloon both cleared 5.82m, with Karalis taking second on countback. Belgium’s Ben Broeders and Turkey’s Ersu Şaşma each managed 5.72m for fourth and fifth, respectively. Australia’s Kurtis Marschall, the Philippines’ Ernest John Obiena, and the USA’s Sam Kendricks all finished with 5.62m, rounding out the top eight in a tightly contested final.
