The Wayzata, Hopkins, and Armstrong boys and girls track and field teams qualified several athletes to state Thursday on the second day of the Section 6AAA championships. Among the winners were Hopkins’ Henry Risser who won the 800, setting a new section record with a time of 1:49.52. The Edina boys won the team title with Wayzata finishing second and Hopkins third. Wayzata finished first in the girls meet. The state meet is June 10-12 at St. Michael-Albertville High School.
