As the focus shifts to the final pillar of the National Sports Academy, athletes will now be exposed to more elite training, and Track and Field is set to benefit from May 29.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Charles Ramson Jr. announced that some elite athletics coaches will visit Guyana in the coming days.
This will add to training from Olympic coaches and medallists in August through strategic partnerships.
