Neeraj Chopra had to settle for second position in the 2025 Doha Diamond League Men’s Javelin Throw event on Friday (May 16) despite a record-breaking 90.23 metres throw in the third attempt, as Germany’s Julian Weber stunned everyone with a final throw of 91.06 metres.

Chopra recorded throws of 88.4 metres in his first attempt, a failed throw in the second, 90.23 metres in the third, 80.56 metres in the fourth, a failed throw in the fifth again, and 88.20 meters in the final attempt.
