The Wayzata boys finished third and Hopkins fourth and the Armstrong girls placed fifth at the annual state high school boys and girls track and field meet. East Ridge was the Class AA boys champion, while St. Michael-Albertville won the Class AA girls meet. Several local athletes won or placed high in individual events. Hopkins’ Seth Eliason won the 1600 meter run, Wayzata had no individual winners but a handful of high finishers. Alexandrea Hurst and Michaela Baker each had strong showings for Armstrong’s girls team.
