Athletes from the CCX viewing area had some strong performances at the Section 4AAA True Team track and field meet at Rogers High School. True team is a meet format run by the coaches association to reward strong teams with depth rather than a few high scoring individuals. Among the highlights locally: Maple Groveโs Jordyn Borsch won the 200 and 400 meters and was second in the 100. Park Centerโs Laubenra Ben beat Borsch in the 100 and then finished second to her in the 200 and 400 while also winning the triple jump. Adyson Kapitzke of Champlin Park won the shot put and discus. On the boys side, Richlu Tudee of Champlin Park won the 100 and 200 and anchored the Rebelsโ first place 4 x 200 relay. Maple Groveโs boys won the 4 x100 and 4 x 800 relays.
