The track and field facility at the University of Southern California, USA, has been renamed Allyson Felix Field in honor of one of its most notable alumni.

Felix, a native of Los Angeles, is the most decorated American track and field athlete in Olympic Games history.

USC authorities honored the athlete and commended her position as an advocate for women’s rights and the rights of athletes of color.
